What you see here are the hands behind the making of an Exhibit. Avenue of creators features the hand impressions on POP (plaster of Paris).
Creating this was such a hit and miss journey in learning about the challenges of working with different materials for the mould and different types of POP. This material was chosen to show the pure and honest commitment of the people towards the built. While the two pastel shades and jute borders compliment the purpose with their raw form.
But more importantly, this Avenue is a celebration of identities and diversity of the makers. Each with a distinctive background and has unique strengths and weaknesses. It shows how with time, different personalities learnt to embrace and celebrate all of these contrasting attributes and transform them into our superpowers.
What you see in front of you are the hands that commit to create impactful, sustainable and meaningful solutions for the world around us: the hands of the Youth.
